1. Q: What is the difference between the online and hard copy?

A: For the online class, you will not receive any paper materials and everything is online. The materials are the same for both types of classes. Some teachers like the paper workbook, and to go over it, while others prefer just to do it online.

  2. Q: Is this accredited? Through who?

A: Fresno Pacific University is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and is authorized to offer courses through the School of Professional Studies. The credits are graduate level, professional development units that are not part of a degree program. Students should seek approval of appropriate district or college officials before enrolling in these courses to satisfy any degree, credential, or local school district requirements.

  3. Q: What makes these courses different than other online distance learning courses?

A: I really try to make these hands-on and include lots of fun and practical activities for the students. That is why I call this site, Hands-On Experiments. Plus I have had thousands of students go through them, and I continue to refine them. I also am easily available and would love to talk and help you.

  4. Q: How long do I have to complete a course?

A: You have up to one year.

  5. Q: If I do not complete a course, are there any refunds?

A: If you wish to withdraw from a course, a full refund will be granted, less a $30 handling fee, if materials are returned in original condition to me within 4 weeks of the registration date. After 4 weeks, a 50% refund will be given through 9 weeks; after 9 weeks, no refund will be granted.

  6. Q: How many classes/units can I take?

A: Students may take 9 semester units concurrently from Fresno Pacific University, but not more than 15 units in a semester.
